The Challenge
At first, Shannon was very excited to be picked for a cross-functional team leading the development of the organization's next generation software product. But somehow, the initial enthusiasm team members had for the project has degenerated into infighting, back stabbing and a feeling that senior management isn't likely to listen to the team's recommendations, no matter how well researched they may be. For something that was supposed to be so good, it sure isn't turning out that way.
